About us

Serving as a professional horseman for over 40 years, Matt has an extensive background in all facets of the equine industry.  While owning and operating Lantz Performance Horses, a successful reining training, coaching, and breeding program, Matt has a wealth of knowledge and exposure in the current equine market.  He currently serves on both the National Reining Horse Assocation Judges and Stewards Committee while actively competing in both the reining and ranch riding events.  As an American Society of Equine Appraisers Certified Appraiser, Matt continues to maintain proficiency in upholding to all required regulations and standards set by the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the Internal Revenue Service.  Matts professional education and experience in the equine industry have not only led to his success as a competitor and coach, but also to his understanding of the current market and valuation of horses in various disciplines.
